I was raised in the South (y’alls still slip out, occasionally) and moved to Los Angeles for a job after graduating college. The stress of that job was often overwhelming. With encouragement from a friend I started attending yoga classes. No matter how frustrated, angry, sad, or tired I felt entering a class, I always felt better upon finishing the class. It was (and still is) such a cool feeling!
Yoga has given me the tools to remain balanced, focused, positive, and motivated during life's difficult obstacles. Once I completed my 200hr Anusara Teacher Training in 2016 it allowed me to share this passion with others. My intention as a teacher is to help my students discover their own path of transformation both physically and mentally.
I will always be a student of the practice first and am grateful for all of my teachers, especially Keric Morinaga and Nichol Chase. My classes are challenging and strong with a lot of compassion and a little bit of silliness - just like me.
