Rae Scharfman

Rae began her yoga practice when she was a teenager. On a whim, she took her first class and that was it for her. She immediately felt something new: true relaxation of the mind. She believes that the magic of yoga lies in releasing the mind, body, and spirit to the divine. Since that fateful class, she knew she wanted to help people find the same happiness she found in yoga.

Rae's class can be considered a sacred dance of sorts, where students connect to the universe through graceful and intentional movement. Her vinyasa classes are a constant flow of poses that come together in a dynamic and upbeat practice. She heavily incorporates music into her flows.

Rae trained at BODY of Santa Fe in the Spring of 2013 and has been teaching ever since. She took an advanced teacher training at Wanderlust in Los Angeles in the Summer of 2016.
